David L. Craik, President
David, as Mr. Craik is known among long-time friends and colleagues in the real estate development industry, has been an acknowledged authority and innovator in the field for over 35 years. His insistence upon highest quality construction, landmark design, and state-of-the-art lifestyle amenities has gained both David and Avenir Group a stellar reputation. As the developer of some of the most prominent luxury senior living facilities throughout Canada and in the Southwestern U.S., David has worked extremely hard to build long-standing and loyal business relationships with partnering companies and third party vendors and subcontractors. Every aspect of the business from sales and marketing to operation and maintenance is a direct result from his vertically integrated corporate structure. Expertise born of experience, hands-on management, maximum efficiencies of scale, and a passion for making seniors' lives exceptional are hallmarks shared by Mr. Craik and everyone at family-owned Avenir.

Violet Craik, Vice President, Avenir Design
The daughter of a hotel owner in Jasper, Alberta, Canada, Violet grew up immersed in the fine points of hospitality and residential interior design and planning. Following her marriage to David, and inspired by their many world travels, Violet became renowned as an interior designer of exquisite taste and style not to mention flexibility. Her projects have included oceanfront mansions and countless residences, hospitality venues, multi-family residential projects, and even yachts. Garnering accolades, press and priceless experience for more than 25 years, Violet's true mission of the heart is creating, with her husband and family, senior residential communities that encourage a feeling of custom-home quality, health, well-being and joy of living. Responsible for the concept, theme, and personality of all Avenir communities, Violet creates exceptionally warm and inviting environments that are the key to Avenir's success. To the tiniest detail, her signature design flair simply knows no peer in the industry.

Jason Craik, Vice President, Marketing and Operations, United States
As David and Violet's son, certainly the real estate development industry has been in Jason Craik's veins since day one. In the 1990s, he found sales and marketing to be where his heart, talents and drive could find their best expression. Even in the toughest markets, Jason has consistently won honors as a mega sales producer. In 2001, he co-founded MAC Marketing Solutions, an envisioning, sales and marketing entity which served many of North America's largest development and residential construction groups. Through 2007, Mr. Craik led his team to enviable multi-billion dollar volume primarily in condominium sales. An astute reader of the marketplace, Jason sold his interest in MAC and joined Avenir in 2008. His love for improving seniors' lives is obvious in Avenir's innovative operations, marketing, sales and leasing programs.

Jason Gurash, Vice President, Marketing and Operations, Canada
Mr. Gurash, the Craik's son-in-law by marriage to David and Violet's daughter, joined Avenir in 2005 bringing with him more than a decade of experience in sales, marketing and management. He has been instrumental in creating and implementing sales strategies that most attractively present Avenir properties to the best prospects for each design. Positioning the company's offerings to deliver maximum revenue is one of Jay's many strengths. His understanding of consumer motivations translates his love for providing seniors with an engaging and exciting new segment of life's journey into substantial returns for the company. His education background includes a degree in Marketing and Sales Management as well as a Real Estate and Sub Mortgage Brokers license, both from the University of British Columbia. In addition, he was awarded Level 3 in Business Development from British Columbia Institute of Technology. Mr. Gurash is responsible for sales tactics and programs to create continued interest, visibility and demand for Avenir communities. Jay is a master of the effective use of public relations, innovative marketing, designing unique events and positively motivating his teams.

Edward P. Ledger, Vice President of Construction
For nearly two decades, Mr. Ledger has been highly involved in real estate construction and development for firms in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Educated at Arizona State University College of Engineering and Applied Science, Ed was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction. His exceptional leadership skills have been further honed by much diverse and successful experience in Design Analysis, Project Management, Schedule Analysis, Finance and Accounting, Cost Estimates, Document Analysis, General Contracting and Construction Management. He has helped manage fiduciary risks throughout the development and construction processes on a wide range of projects from golf courses to sports stadiums, multi-family and master-planned communities to hotel resorts. He has supervised architects, engineers and construction managers and possesses a high degree of expertise in all aspects of real estate transactions. Mr. Ledger is a Certified Construction Inspector in both Arizona and Georgia and is affiliated with the Association of Construction Inspectors and Construction Specifications Institute. At Avenir, Mr. Ledger oversees all development and construction and provides the leadership required to keep the company among the most successful in the senior retirement living industry.

Eric J. Bricker, Chief Financial Officer
A CPA and MBA with more than 20 years of progressive financial operations management and executive consulting experience, Mr. Bricker oversees all U.S. and Canadian financial operations, treasury functions and system initiatives for the Avenir Group. His expertise and extensive financial & operations experience comes from a diverse background including the roles of Vice President of Finance, Director of Financial Operations, Controller and Accounting Manager for organizations specializing in high-tech manufacturing, healthcare staffing and commercial real estate. In these roles, Mr. Bricker drove all day-to-day financial operations initiatives as well as year-end reporting and working with external audit and tax CPAs to finalize the reporting to outside investors for both publicly traded and privately held companies. Mr. Bricker has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accountancy from Northern Arizona University, a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and is an Arizona Certified Public Accountant. As Chief Financial Officer of Avenir, Mr. Bricker is involved in all aspects of planning and managing the continued fiduciary success and integrity of the company.
